Hello March

Hello lovelies! And hello March!

As I look outside to the snow covered lawn and reminants of a snowman family, I find it hard to believe we are already into March here on the West Coast! Last night in yoga we watched the snow fall from inside our cozy yurt at Sleeping Dog Organic Farm. A scene expected in December or January...but here in March?!?

Snow or no snow, the spring is coming bringing with it the opportunity to come out of hibernation and bloom into what we are meant to be. With that, I find myself easily lured into the pattern of over-scheduling and over-goal setting for what I hope to accomplish this month. I look forward to all that is coming, and make no mistake, March will be busy...BUT this year, I am going to break the pattern and plan ahead for self care too!

Enter: 31 day March challenge...to me:) I would love for you to join me! I am challenging myself to finding 15 minutes each day to nourish my soul. Be it meditation, asana practice, writing, journaling, dancing wildly with my iPod, a walk in the rain...something that is just for me. I am sure to many, 15 minutes doesn't sound like a lot. To be honest, pre-mumma Liz would think the same. However, in this chapter of my life creating 15 minutes guilt-free, just for me, EVERYday, can be a HUGE challenge.

I hope you will join me and feel free to make this your own. You can choose one activity to do each day, or join me in my buffet style of nourishment. You know both what will challenge you in your life right now, and you know what you need to give yourself some loves.

Now, off to bed for a quiet meditation before sweet slumber.
