I LOVE ME Challenge and Winter Wishes
For this week of celebrations...Happy Winter Solstice to my fellow Northern Hemisphere dwellers...and Happy Summer Solstice Southern Hemisphere dwellers! Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas! Happy last week of 2011!!!
How glorious for us to know we are moving back into the light! An opportunity to shed the darkness and celebrate embracing light! What darkness from this last year are you letting go of? Today. Right now. In this moment. Give yourself permission to let go of it to make room for the light!
Perhaps that light includes a little extra time for the I LOVE ME Challenge? and beyond?
These past few days I have been sprinking my I LOVE ME mOMents with....
- Seeing all things Christmassy in town...
The Christmas Tree's at the Empress Hotel
This one is BIIIIIIIIIG!
Gingerbread "houses" (Eiffel Tower above) at The Inn and Laurel Point
- Catching up on some of my favourite inspirational blogs...especially nice keeping me company on the iPhone during middle of the night feedings:)
- Savouring a couple mOMents of quietly reading. My current arm chair travel indulgence, The Lost Girls.
- Bed meditations.
- Self foot massage...don't wait for someone else to do it! If your tootsies need some love...give it to them! I LOVE to use the Mary Kay Mint Bliss Energizing Lotion for Feet and Legs.
- yoga
- peaceful walks down the trail behind our house...today in the rain and gumboots...bliss!
- making mulled cranberry sauce (recipe to follow:)
Et toi? How have you been keeping yourself charged and loved through this busy season?

I think that the I Love Me
I think that the I Love Me Challenge was actually easier over the holidays. Now that the children are sleeping, the dishes are done and the school lunch is made I am going to have a bath instead of catching up on all the other stuff I had planned for tonight.
Woke up and went to yogi
Woke up and went to yogi ...=]...hard work ...but I did it !
