My Gloves are On...Watch Out Cancer!

I have been passionately involved in the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life for many years. Many reasons bring me there every year but the three biggest are that;

1. I am naturally a protector (just ask my little sis!). I will do all I can to protect my family and friends from harm and this is one way I can fight back with a  vengeance against Cancer.

2. I am ANGRY! VERY ANGRY! This disease has shown its ugly face in my family since the first couple years of my life. I am ANGRY that it has had the nerve to hurt someone I love. I am ANGRY that is has had the nerve to take so many lives. I am ANGRY that it continues to do so.

3. I will do all I can to make sure my beautiful yogini will NEVER have to get the news that I have had to receive.

I am really happy to share a new on-line commercial/video that I got to view for the first time last night off the newly launched Fight Back website. This is one of the first times that I have seen a commercial that actually expresses what cancer has done to so many.

The best part? These are not actors.  These are real people sharing their experience and their feelings. It may sound horrible, but I hope this clip makes you angry...ANGRY at all that cancer has done and continues to do to the people you love...and ANGRY enough to lace up your gloves with me and FIGHT BACK!
