There is more and more of a focus in our society on finding ways to heal our bodies without the use of drugs...THANK GOODNESS! I have always been hesitant to take medications, right down to something for a headache. I figure, if something in my body hurts it is trying to tell me something...drink water, slow down, eat clean, take a break etc. Rather than put a bandaide on the problem, I hope to find the cause and rectify it. That being said, I am aware that there are exceptions to every rule. Even still, I feel that even after inviting modern medicine into your body, there is still opportunity to support its efforts with more holistic measures. Here are only a few of many, many asanas (yoga poses) you can use to support your body through some common physical aches/complaints and get you back into life...
