Recipe: Whole Grain Dessert

Sweet Treat with No Guilt!
A collection of mixed frains.

Looking for a sweet treat to end the day but not wanting to negate all your clean eating of the day so far? This is my newest easy creation...YUM!

Whole Grain Dessert

1. In a small bowl combine:

1/2 cup cooked cold whole grain (whatever was for dinner or lunch ~ my current fave for this is barley or brown rice)

1/8-1/4 cup skim milk (or sugar-free soy milk)

2. Warm in microwave for 30 seconds

3. Drizzle with 1 tsp of raw honey

It's that simple! I like to make extra of the whole grain I am cooking for dinner to keep in the fridge for lunch the next day in whole wheat wraps or other speedy meals...and now for this yummy dessert too!
