Relay for Life 2011 Tonight!

It's here! Tonight is the 2011 Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life!  As I have spoken about before, this FIGHT BACK against cancer event is very close to my heart. I look forward to the community created at an overnight event, knowing we are all their united in our voice against cancer ~ "you will not win!"

I am just packing up the last couple things to keep this preggo body going through the night, and thought I would share with you all the fun we will be having. Hope you can pop by for an event or two...or join us for the night! Last minute team members are always welcome. And a special invitation to any cancer survivors reading this ~ there is a victory lap that starts the event at 7pm tonight to celebrate YOU!

So, what's happening with us through the night?
7pm ~ Victory Lap followed by us leading you in a GROOVE warm-up
10pm ~ Luminary lit Remember Ceremony (I have all the decorated luminaries ready to put out...if you still would like to add one, they can be purchased and decorated on site!)
11pm ish ~ GROOVE laps (remember your iPod and earphones!)
12am ~ Midnight Miracle Mile
1:30am ~ Workshop/group vision board (at the luminary tent)
2:45am ~ GROOVE Party
4:15am ~ Sunrise Yoga

See you at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre soccer fields...you won't be able to miss us:) I will also be posting on facebook and twitter through the night so that you can follow our progress!
