Sleep Well

yoga, legs up wall, relaxation

I am busily prepping for the conference tomorrow (which is technically later today as we pass midnight...oops!), and as always the 'night before' am flooded with ideas and endorphins making it tricky to summon the sandman! I know I am not alone in this last minute buzz so here is my recipe (about to be followed) for sweet dreams...

1 realization that there comes a time to call it complete and close your computer!
1 cup Tazo Zen tea *sigh*
5 minutes 'counting your blessings' seated in a darkened room ~ what are you grateful for?
5 minutes seated deep breathing in a darkened room
5-15 mintues Viparita Karani~ Legs up the Wall Pose (in photo above)

Once you have completed the above steps, snuggle into bed with a notebook and pen on your bedside table. That way when last minute ideas or 'must not forget' items pop into your head, you can write them down and relax knowing they will be there in the morning!

Sleep well, my friends!
